About Belinda

 

Belinda Stern holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Temple University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and has taken college counseling certification from UCLA.


Belinda has worked with troubled youth in the foster care system, has developed educational material for private industry, investigated discrimination claims, worked in labor relations and was even an adult parole officer in Philadelphia.

 

Belinda has found her passion in helping students navigate the college search and application process.  By following an application plan, Belinda reduces student and parent stress.  Her clear format and organizational tools give students confidence to tackle each step in time to have well written, completed applications before the winter break of their senior year.


A member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, the Higher Education Consultants Association and the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admissions Counseling, Belinda attends professional development seminars and visits colleges throughout the year to maintain her knowledge of college admissions practices.
